7th Annual Go-Hawk Hustle!  

The Waverly-Shell Rock Middle School community is excited to be able to announce our 7th annual fall wellness event! 

The Go-Hawk Hustle run/walk falls in line with the Iowa's Healthiest State Annual Walk Initiative while providing a fundraising opportunity for our school. It has quickly become a tradition that our students and staff greatly anticipate. We can't thank you enough for the encouraging and supportive role you play!  

On Wednesday, October 1st, our students will experience the excitement of a race, on a timed course. This event will take place during the school day. Thanks to our generous business sponsors, ALL students will receive a free t-shirt and race bib. Mark your calendar if you'd like to volunteer or cheer on your child as they make their way around the 5k course!

Along with this event, students will be asked to seek fundraising dollars for their participation in the 5k run/walk. The funds raised will go to our school to support classroom needs for this school year. Students may choose to use fundraising envelopes to collect money and will also have a unique donation code for online processing.    

* A donation is not required in order for your child to participate or receive a t-shirt. 

*Checks can be made payable to WSR Middle School.
